What is the reason for the inconsistent brightness of the LED display?
The light-emitting element, that is, the LED light-emitting tube, is inevitable inconsistent brightness during the production process. However, the countermeasures adopted by LED display manufacturers are to divide the bins after the production is completed. The smaller the brightness difference between the two adjacent bins, the better the consistency, but the more serious the phenomenon of low yield and high inventory. Therefore, each manufacturer controls the brightness difference between two adjacent gears at about 20%.
The driving element is generally a constant current driving chip, such as MBl5026. These chips contain 16 constant current drive outputs, and the current output value can be set by resistors. The error of each output of the same chip is controlled within 3%, and the output error of different chips is controlled within 6%.
It is normal for a brightness error of 25% between the pixels of the LED display. If the LED light-emitting tubes are not of the same grade and type, the brightness error will rise to more than 40%.
It is also worth noting that the inconsistent brightness of the full-color LED display is the root cause of Huaping. It cannot be corrected by post-correction equipment. It is only achieved by the LED display manufacturer during the manufacturing process. Therefore, if you buy a screen with inconsistent brightness, please contact your service provider or manufacturer to request resolution.
